DPS Prayagraj, in the presence of the Mayor successfully organized a series of eco-friendly initiatives to observe Earth Day on April 22nd, aiming to raise awareness about environmental conservation and promote sustainable practices within the community.

The event commenced with a formal gathering of parents, teachers, students, and distinguished guests on the DPS grounds. A ceremonial lamp was lit to mark the significant change the event aimed to bring about. Later, a human chain was formed to water plants on road dividers. Nearly 300 saplings were planted across the vast campus of DPS Prayagraj. Several bird feeders were placed at different points of the huge building of the school, giving a message that humans are sharers of the planet, not its masters.

The Chief Guest, Mr. Ganesh Kesharwani, Mayor, and the Principal of DPS Prayagraj, Dr. Sujata Singh, delivered inspiring speeches, sharing their thoughts on the significance of environmental stewardship. Dr. Singh emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in protecting the planet, stating, "The earth is suffering, and it's our collective responsibility to curb the menace. As stewards of the planet, we must work together to fulfill the earth's needs and ensure a sustainable future for generations to come." On the occasion of Earth Day, Dr. Singh reaffirmed the school's commitment to protecting the environment, announcing initiatives such as Cleanliness Drives, Save Trees, and Sustainability efforts to preserve and conserve nature for future generations.
