Delhi Public School, Prayagraj, successfully hosted its spectacular Annual Sports Meet on 12th December 2025, celebrating a spirit of healthy competition, sportsmanship, and physical fitness. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Pankaj, DCP Prayagraj HQ/ Protocol, as the Chief Guest and the host school President Ms. Sonu Singh. The day commenced with an energetic and synchronized March Past and Gaurd Of Honor by all participating houses showcasing discipline and pride. The lighting of the flame by the Torch Bearers—the school's outstanding athletes headed by the school’s Sports Captain Abhinav Singh was an inspiring moment, The August Gathering in the Guest Arena was thrilled with excitement as all house captains and the house members took the solemn oath to uphold the value of sportsmanship and fair play. The Principal, Dr. Sujata Singh extended a warm welcome to the chief guest and the guests of honour reaffirming the school's motive of nurturing and guiding well-rounded individuals.
Mr. Pankaj, the Chief Guest, addressed the students encouraging them to integrate sports and physical activity into their daily lives. "I congratulate the students of DPS Prayagraj for their outstanding performance and the school management for organizing such a magnificent event” said the Chief Guest Mr. Pankaj.
With a symbolic dove release, the chief guest then officially declared the meet open. The fierce competition spanned various sports with athletes vying for the prestigious gold medals.
The cynosure of the occasion was the fun games for pre‑nursery to prep students, along with a lively taekwondo demonstration, which filled the atmosphere with smiles and laughter. The day concluded on a high note with a prize distribution ceremony, where gold, silver, and bronze medals were awarded to deserving athletes, celebrating their dedication and success.
