Delhi Public School, Prayagraj, hosted its Annual Cultural Meet on 13th December 2025, showcasing the remarkable talents and cultural enthusiasm of its students .The event was graced by Mr. Manish Kr. Verma, District Magistrate, Prayagraj, as the Chief Guest and school president Ms. Sonu Singh.The program commenced with ceremonial lamp lighting followed by Principal's address. The Principal Dr. Sujata Singh expressed her gratitude and extended a warm welcome to the esteemed gathering. She also emphasised the significance of Well- rounded development of younger generation through amalgamation of modern and traditional methods of teaching.
The students of DPS orchestra performed The instrumental prelude, setting a melodious tone, followed by the enchanting Sufi Rang performance that evoked the spiritual essence of Sufi traditions. Young performers from Pre-Nursery to Class 2 delighted the audience with “Straight from the Heart (Emotions)”, a touching portrayal of emotions through creative expression .The grand finale featured the Dance Drama "Dharma Rakshati Rakshitah", where around 450 students from std 3 to 12 magnanimously depicted the timeless principle that righteousness protects those who uphold it. The dance drama left the audience enchanted and enlightened, bringing the Mahabharat Characters alive on the stage, the grand impersonation of Lord Krishna in the “Vishwaroop Darshan Yoga” portrayed by lead actor Krishang Sharma std 11 received a standing ovation by the audience. The entire ground of DPS resonated with Draupadi's and Arjuna's penance portrayed respectively by Vanya Singh Std 11 and Arpan Agarwal Std 11.
The chief guest, Mr. Manish Kumar Verma, congratulated the students and the entire DPS family for their incredible performance and hospitality. He also shared anecdotes from his childhood and spoke about his inclination towards art and culture. The audience was spell‑bound and sensed a divine energy that permeated every corner of the host school.
This celebration highlighted DPS Prayagraj’s commitment to holistic education through the integration of art and culture, drawing parents, faculty, and community members to applaud the students' impeccable performances. The event concluded with the Vote of Thanks and National Anthem.
